Waterjet machining is a relatively new technology using water under very high pressure and an abrasive like sand (garnet) to cut very precise parts. Waterjet cutting is comparable to a Laser in detail and precision, but can cut a wider variety of material. Waterjet cutting is an environmentally friendly process emitting no smoke or fumes.
